We are looking for an experienced copywriter to work on performance-driven campaigns for e-commerce brands. This position is not for beginners. A strong understanding of sales copy, experience writing for digital channels, and native-level English proficiency in writing, expression, and tone are essential. The focus is on projects with measurable outcomes and clear performance goals.
About the Role
- Product landing pages (Structure: hero section, sales benefits, benefit vs. feature differentiation, FAQ, review section; Focus on conversion within Shopify environments)
- Email sequences and campaigns (Types: promo campaigns, welcome flows, abandoned cart, post-purchase; Combination of sales, informational, and storytelling approaches)
- Video ad scripts (TikTok and UGC formats; Structure: hook, build-up, punchline, CTA; Focus on short-form clarity and precise instructions for creators)
- Copy for graphic ads (Text on visuals, headline, subheadline, microcopy; Alignment with brand tone and advertising message)
- Meta ads (Facebook/Instagram) (Emphasis on hook-first copywriting; A/B testing variations: text length, angles, CTAs)
- Blog posts for e-commerce websites (Educational and value-driven themes; SEO-friendly structure without sacrificing readability and flow)
- Understanding of performance marketing (Core metrics: CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS; Linking ad results to copy performance; Using insights from data to improve future campaigns)
- Collaboration with designers and media buyers (Clearly formatted copy aligned with final ad formats; Clear guidelines for video, graphics, CTAs, and format; Flexible communication via Slack, Monday, and document comments)
- Using essential tools (Google Docs for writing and real-time collaboration; Slack for fast, clear communication; Monday for task and content management; Bonus: basic familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and email tools like Klaviyo)
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of copywriting experience, preferably in digital and/or e-commerce contexts
- Native-level proficiency in English
- A degree in marketing, communications, linguistics, psychology, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with SEO tools and principles (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Yoast) is a plus
- Strong independence and task organization skills
