We are looking for a Direct Response Video Editor who doesn’t edit videos to “look beautiful” but to sell. Your goal isn’t to win festivals — it’s to win the attention of someone scrolling TikTok in their pajamas. Your tools: strong hooks, fast pacing, native-style editing, and sales psychology.
About the Role
You will create video formats people watch until the end, click on, and — most importantly — videos that drive results. You’ll work on products purchased by thousands of customers every day.
- Short-form video editing (TikTok, Reels, Shorts; formats optimized for engagement, watch time, and CTR)
- Direct response ad structure (Creating ads built on Hook → Problem → Solution → CTA frameworks)
- UGC editing and pacing (Shaping creator-shot content into compelling narratives with strong rhythm and retention)
- Brand alignment (Ensuring videos match the copy, design, tone, and brand feel)
- Creative testing (Producing multiple variations of edits, hooks, angles, and narratives for performance experiments)
- Cross-team collaboration (Working closely with marketing, designers, and copywriters to deliver aligned DTC creatives)
- Editing tools (Using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, and similar tools depending on the workflow)
- Fast execution (Ability to quickly interpret briefs and apply feedback with precision)
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in social media ad editing (Short-form, UGC, and performance-driven formats preferred)
- Understanding of viewer behavior (You know how people scroll — and how to stop them)
- A performance-focused portfolio (Proof of conversions and strong ad results, not just aesthetics)
- English proficiency (Sufficient to understand copy, briefs, and narrative context)
- Mastery of short-form editing principles (Loops, captions, sound design, pacing, jump cuts — used as strategic tools, not decorations)
- Bonus points for performance marketing knowledge (Understanding metrics like CTR, ROAS, CAC is a plus)
